Meditations: Recommenations for meditation on consiousness and experience. These may assist understanding of the mystical passages in the Republic:
- Unguided: sit | close eyes | passively pay attention to breathing | let thoughts subside | passively listen to any sounds as they are heard, in themselves, without consideration for their source | when attention is distracted, come back to breathing | for 20mins+
- Guide: there are many choices in many tradition, including on youtube. Here is one using the writings of a non-aligned Rumanian mystic, Ilie Cioara.
