| Timaeus, Critias & Philebus | from Wed 4 Nov 2026 | in Carlton +Online|
Join us right after Melbourne Cup Day when we start reading Plato’s Timaeus.
Perhaps it is the history of astronomy, Medieval cosmology or the origins of European musical harmony that tickles your fancy for Plato’s Timaeus.
This is followed by the unfinished Critias, which is all about Atlantis and archaic Athens.
We continue to the Philebus, where the question of pleasure in the good life is address along the most extraordinary lines. Details and Bookings
